6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD!
O praise the LORD!
“All breaths,” literally, in the original.1
The Hebrew words meaning “breath,” “wind,” etc—they also mean “spirit” or “life” or “soul,” etc.
To have life is to be created to praise God, and to have reason to praise God!
So…

Some commentaries want us to know that of course this is not to be taken literally, that it MUST refer to humans ONLY, and those in the temple, just the Jews….
Yeah, nonsense. But, I’m not gonna waste my breath.
